We are proud to announce our commitment as a champion donor to the newly launched ONESKY IMPACT FUND, pledging USD 200,000 annually for the next three years. This initiative will advance early childhood care and education for vulnerable children in Mongolia by addressing critical needs in underserved communities and driving sustainable solutions.
The Issue
Families in Mongolia are increasingly migrating to urban areas due to environmental and economic pressures. Many settle in informal, peripheral areas of Ulaanbaatar, where access to essential social services is limited. In these communities, families often lack safe and supportive spaces for their young children, hindering their cognitive, social, and emotional development.
Our Partners
OneSky, our long-term strategic partner, brings 25 years of experience in early childhood care and education across Asia. By working with communities and governments, OneSky delivers impactful programmes on responsive care and safe and nurturing learning environments through training, mentoring, and support.
Asia Community Foundation (ACF), another valued partner, is a Singapore-based charity promoting purposeful giving in Asia. ACF established the OneSky Impact Fund to raise awareness about pressing issues in Mongolia, highlight impactful initiatives, and enable collaborative giving to accelerate impact.
About the Fund
Launched in July 2024, the OneSky Impact Fund aims to create safe and nurturing learning environments for marginalised children in Mongolia, by:
- Scaling the training programme for parents and families;
- Strengthening independent childcare providers to deliver quality care and education;
- Bringing responsive, family-like care to orphanages.
These efforts are crucial for fostering the cognitive and emotional development of young children during their most critical years, paving the way for lifelong success.
